Website Roasts

In this project, I've taken on the challenge of revamping existing websites and their homepage, aiming to simplify navigation, boost visual appeal, integrate social proof, and enhance the effectiveness of CTAs and other CRV metrics.

Challenge

Most of the examples reviewed were deficient in performance drivers, KPIs, conversion optimization elements, and lacked an actual website. Therefore, starting from a 'blank slate' presented both creative and marketing challenges.

Results

The complete works would illuminate a company's market position.

Not only were the designs utilized as case studies, but they also enabled me to expand my project portfolio, enhance my skills, and increase business outreach

Process

Planning & Strategy: Research was conducted in line with other high-performing websites, adopting their techniques, and also involved studying proficient designers in this field.

Structure: This step took a somewhat different approach; while still requiring the construction of the site's structural 'skeleton,' it was sometimes easier when working with existing brands/competitors. And for the sctructure main aim was simplicity and ease.

Design: After developing the wireframes, we entered a design phase where various iterations were explored.

Development & Delivery: The sites were built using only the designs; no development was done for these projects. Although these designs did not need to be downloaded, they were simply published on the portfolio.

Conclusion

The websites were developed using CRV tools, enabling brands to integrate these changes into their actual operations. Additionally, as conceptual case studies, these projects helped improve skills, broaden the portfolio, and attract new, interested clients.
